Known limitations (honest list)
- Time-sensitive Tasmanian figures. Several first-home concessions changed on 1 July 2026. Where a figure relates to a date that has passed, we flag it and direct you to the State Revenue Office Tasmania for the current position.
- Medicare levy thresholds. The low-income Medicare levy thresholds are indexed annually; the estimator uses the most recently published single figure. Confirm the current threshold with the ATO.
- Estimates only. The calculators use standard assumptions (for example, resident, single, no dependants for the tax estimator) and cannot reflect every personal circumstance.

How reviews work
Fast-changing content (tax rates, thresholds, grants, repayment figures) is reviewed at least around each federal Budget and the start of each financial year, and whenever we are told of a change. Each factual page shows the date it was last verified. Editing a page for style does not reset its verification date - only re-checking the facts does.
