Privacy notice

In short

This site is built to need almost no information about you. The calculators run entirely in your browser. Anything you save (a budget, a snapshot, checklist ticks) is stored only on your own device and never sent to us. We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.

Our privacy approach

Family and Personal Finances is designed around data minimisation: the best way to protect your information is not to collect it. This notice explains what that means in practice. It is written to reflect the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we do not collect

Information stored on your own device

Some tools offer to save your entries so they are there next time - the budget planner, the money snapshot, and checklist ticks. This uses your browser\u2019s local storage, which:

Shared or public devices

Because saved data stays in the browser, avoid saving your figures on a shared or public computer. If you do, use the delete buttons before you leave, or use a private/incognito window.

Standard web server information

Like almost all websites, the web server hosting this site may automatically record basic technical information in its logs (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. This is standard hosting operation, is not used to identify or profile you, and is not combined with the figures you enter into tools. Retention follows the hosting provider\u2019s standard log settings.

If you contact us

If you email or contact SupportCALL ICT Solutions to report an error or ask a question, we will hold what you send us only as long as needed to respond and to maintain the site, and we will not use it for marketing without your consent.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act you can ask what personal information (if any) we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and make a complaint. As set out above, we hold very little. To make a request, contact SupportCALL ICT Solutions via supportcall.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
